Sustainability

«Sustainability is not a final state, it is an ongoing process.»
Nicole Blum, Founder

Sustainability has long ceased to be a unique selling proposition, all sectors and companies have to deal with it. It is important to us to promote sustainability in order to reduce the negative impact of the cosmetics industry on the environment and create a better future for generations to come.

Packaging

Conventional cosmetic packaging is often made of plastic. We choose recycled or recyclable material for our products. Due to our focus on water-free, solid cosmetics, we are able to optimally reduce the packaging of the products and choose sustainable materials. Finding the perfect, sustainable packaging for cosmetics is very challenging. We do our best and are always rethinking and optimizing our products if new solutions or financial resources allow us to do so.

Ingredients

Another aspect of sustainability in the cosmetics industry concerns the selection of ingredients. Our products contain only natural, organic and vegan ingredients. Since most recipes are anhydrous, we often do not need any preservatives.

We need less

One area we shouldn't ignore is our own consumer behavior. By shopping more consciously and only buying the products we actually need, we can help reduce overconsumption and conserve resources. It is important to realize that our purchasing decisions have a direct impact on the sustainability of the cosmetics industry.

1% for the Planet

We are a member of 1% for the Planet - an international association of companies that have committed to donate one percent of their sales to environmental protection. Every year we donate 1% of our sales to environmental projects.
